Some friendly additions

You've probably already read the first post in my blog. I'm putting some posts on both blogs if they have something universal to say.

Now that this page is finished I'm planning to update my blogs quite regularly so be sure to check back.

Once more in Japanese:
多分このブログの一番目のエントリーもよんだ。時々、エントリーが一般的な意味があったら双方のブログにポーストするつもりだ。このブログは英語で書くからまだミクシーのブログも使う。でもここのブログをちょくちょくアップデートするがら時々着て見てね。

Up and running

After a few days of continuous working this page is finally finished. I thought it might be a nice idea to put up a webpage so to distract all the scriptkiddies and keep them from trying to bruteforce my SSH-daemon. (Hey guys, that “certificate only” message got kind of a distinct meaning. But thanks anyway. I can use my logs as a bleeding edge wordlist now.) Ok, time to talk seriously. I wanted a page to put up information and I had this server standing ready anyway. Since I did not want to modify the HTML-code by hand (this is extremely uncomfortable when working with public computers while travelling) I started looking for a CMS that would fit my needs. Unfortunately this turned out to be little rewarding. All the CMS I looked up either didn't fit my needs in terms of usability or content. And those who did were either crudely coded or appeared in BUGTRAQ several times within the last 3 month. Even with the default apache up I get hit by about 200 hacking attempts a day (mostly automated checks probably used by some want-to-be-1337 kid somewhere) so the time I would have to fix a vulnerability before someone came to abuse it would be very short. And that is not really what I'm looking for. Therefore I decided to code everything by hand. Thanks a lot to Quanta Plus for providing an excellent HTML- and CSS-editor. Furthermore thanks to mod_python. I used python to handwrite all the calls this webpage uses. (Have fun hacking this).

The core of this page consists of two blogs. There I will provide everyone who is interested with my thoughts, reviews, opinions and releases. The personal blog is aimed at friends and those who do not primarily see me as a security-freak. The official blog is for all the others. I chose English as the language for this page since I wanted to cover as many potential readers as I possibly could. If you have any questions please contact me.
